This year has flown by & I can't believe it's the end of April! So, here's the Morris family update. My little lady turned 7. She FINALLY got herself a pillow pet. Yep, pretty much made her birthday.
Then she & Grandma set a date to get her ears pierced. She was SO brave! No major melt-downs and now her ears sparkle. It's something I've always wanted to do, but never had the courage to get it done. I was WAY more nervous then she was when it came time. I wanted to puke. She just grabbed a hold of the sides of the seat and held on tight.
Joey Logano's NASCAR came for a visit to one of our Home Depots. So we HAD to go. Seeing a race car up close was really cool- I must admit. Paul was beside himself with excitement, but he's very clear that Joey Logano is cool, but not his favorite driver. That title belongs to Carl Edwards. This mom is very behind on the times with NASCAR & I still have to ask my 5 year old who's who and what's what. Now what # is Carl Edwards?? Who's his sponsor?
Livvey is blending into our family and has found her place... she & Jon are fighting for "head of the household." So far, they're taking turns. :)
Oh, and we've also discovered how to get the kids to eat eggs. 3 dozen eggs. In about 2 days. The secret is to boil them, color them, and enjoy. Whew!
